A2 in 25 Weeks
Weekend Classes
Your weekends. Your path to A2.
For many international residents, finding time during the working week is one of the biggest obstacles to learning Portuguese.
The Weekend Course provides a simple alternative.
By concentrating your Portuguese lessons at the weekend, you can maintain your normal weekday routine while making consistent progress towards A2.
You have time during the week to review what you have learned, practise independently and prepare for your next classes, without having to fit regular lessons around meetings, work or weekday travel.
Who is this course for?
The Weekend Course is particularly suitable if you:
- have a demanding Monday-to-Friday work schedule;
- travel or have professional commitments during the week;
- prefer to reserve part of your weekend for Portuguese;
- want a gradual and structured route from A1 to A2;
- need recognised proof of A2 Portuguese but would prefer to complete a language course rather than prepare independently for the CIPLE exam;
- want to learn Portuguese without significantly changing your weekday routine.
25 weeks to build your Portuguese
Learning a language takes consistency.
Over 25 weeks, the Weekend Course gives you the time to gradually develop your Portuguese while maintaining a predictable weekly learning routine.
Throughout the 150-hour programme, you will develop the four essential language skills: Speaking · Listening · Reading · Writing.
You will also build the vocabulary and grammar needed to communicate more confidently in everyday situations in Portugal.
Our objective is for you to finish the programme not only with your A2 certificate, but with Portuguese that you can genuinely use.
Live online weekend classes
All lessons take place live online, so your Portuguese classroom can be wherever you happen to be that weekend.
Classes are taught by qualified and experienced Portuguese language teachers, and all course materials are included.
You will study in a small group of no more than 10 students (average of 4/5 students), giving everyone the opportunity to participate, ask questions and practise speaking Portuguese.
Your A2 Certificate
After successfully completing the 150-hour programme, you will receive your A2 Portuguese Language Certificate, which can be used as proof of Portuguese-language knowledge for the applicable Portuguese citizenship/nationality and permanent residence procedures.
