Our 2-to-4-week Full-Immersion Portuguese Course combines intensive face-to-face tuition with real experiences in Portugal, creating a personalised programme where Portuguese continues long after the lesson has finished.
For two, three or four weeks, Portuguese becomes part of your everyday life. You will learn with your teacher in person and then take your Portuguese into the world around you, discovering the country, meeting its people and experiencing its culture while putting the language into practice.

Your programme includes structured face-to-face Portuguese lessons with an experienced language teacher.
But the learning experience doesn’t end when you leave the classroom.
Depending on your interests and the programme designed for you, your immersion experience can incorporate cultural activities and real-life situations that give you opportunities to hear, understand and use Portuguese outside a traditional lesson.
Portugal itself becomes part of the learning environment. The objective is simple: to reduce the distance between learning Portuguese and living in Portuguese.

Every Full-Immersion Course is different.
Before the programme begins, we take the time to understand your current Portuguese level, objectives, availability, interests and preferred intensity.
We then create a personalised 2, 3 or 4-week programme combining formal Portuguese tuition with an immersion experience designed around you.
Whether you are starting from the beginning, improving Portuguese you already speak or working towards a particular language objective, the programme can be adapted accordingly.
Learn Portuguese through Portuguese culture
Language and culture are inseparable.
Learning Portuguese in Portugal gives you the opportunity to understand not only what people say, but how they communicate and the cultural context behind the language.
Your programme may therefore combine classroom learning with carefully selected cultural experiences and activities. These experiences are not simply sightseeing. They are opportunities to practise.

Lessons can focus more closely on your particular strengths and difficulties, while the immersion component creates opportunities to reinforce what you learn through genuine interaction and experience.
You will work on Speaking · Listening · Reading · Writing, with particular emphasis on communication and the practical use of Portuguese.
More than a Portuguese course
A traditional language course gives you lessons. Full immersion gives you context.
The Portuguese you hear in class is the same language you encounter around you. New vocabulary becomes something you can recognise and use. Cultural experiences give meaning to expressions and situations discussed with your teacher.
The result is an intensive learning experience designed to help you become more confident using Portuguese beyond the classroom.
Your A2 Certificate
After successfully completing your tailor-made programme, you will receive your A2 Portuguese Language Certificate, which can be used as proof of Portuguese-language knowledge for the applicable Portuguese citizenship/nationality and permanent residence procedures.

Which course is the best option for me?
If you need your certificate sooner, choose the Super Intensive (5 weeks) or Intensive Course (10 weeks).

Do I need to know Portuguese before I start?
No. The A1 + A2 programme starts from the beginning, so you can join as a complete beginner.
Over 150 hours you will work on speaking, listening, reading and writing, and finish able to communicate in common everyday situations in Portugal.
How are the classes organised?
Our group and private courses are 100% online and taught live by experienced Portuguese language teachers via Zoom, so you can attend from home, work or anywhere else that suits you.
Groups are limited to 10 students (average of 4/5 people), and all learning materials are included.
Can I have face-to-face classes or study one-to-one?
Yes. The Private Course can be taken one-to-one or as a private group (couples, families, friends or colleagues), with a tailor-made schedule.
In-person courses can also be organised upon special request, either at our facilities in Portugal or, subject to location and teacher availability, at your home in Portugal or in your country of residence.
