Why choose the Intensive Course?
This course is particularly suitable if you:
- need your A2 certificate within a shorter timeframe;
- want an alternative to preparing for and sitting the official CIPLE exam;
- prefer live lessons with a qualified teacher rather than studying independently;
- want to learn Portuguese while working towards the certificate required for your citizenship or permanent residence application.
Small groups, live online classes
You will study in a small group of no more than 10 students (average of 4/5 students), allowing your teacher to provide individual attention while giving you plenty of opportunities to communicate and practise Portuguese with your classmates.
All classes take place live online via Zoom, so you can attend from home, work or anywhere else that suits you.
Throughout the course, we provide all the learning materials you need.
Learn Portuguese, don't just get a certificate
Our objective is not simply to help you complete 150 hours.
By the end of the programme, you should be able to communicate in Portuguese in common everyday situations and have developed the language skills associated with A2 level.
You will work on speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as the vocabulary and grammar you need to communicate more confidently in Portugal.
Your A2 Certificate
After successfully completing the 150-hour programme, you will receive your A2 Portuguese Language Certificate, which can be used as proof of Portuguese-language knowledge for the applicable Portuguese citizenship/nationality and permanent residence procedures.
